People always ask me why I sacrifice so much to participate in hackathons and Startup Weekends. Some say they became commonplace, while others say it’s for beginners.

I say that to participate in hackathons is to be willing to renovate yourself continuously, to think about the world’s problems, learn new technologies, get out of the comfort zone, challenge yourself beyond the obvious, sharpen the communication with what’s different, collaborate and contribute, unify voices and ideas, transcend and generate disruptive solutions in a short period of time. It’s in the hackathon context that people from all sorts of backgrounds and experiences give life to fluid and creative communities, capable of reshaping human interactions.

Sometimes life requires a different approach, a new path, another understanding that can only be accomplished when we dare to become something else... someone else... another version of ourselves that will no longer spin the wheel, but redefine it.

Hackathons are a good place to start. They force us out of our blind spots and, without mercy, ask: let’s rip out the shell, bloom new feathers and fly even higher? The ones that accept the challenge, knock down the status quo and create new connections. They are the ones who will build the future for the entire humanity. After all, “people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”

The storytelling experience on the blog was incredibly helpful for my work. It showed me how to create stories with a clear arc, relatable characters, and emotional depth. I applied these techniques to my recent projects, and the response has been amazing. This guide made complex storytelling strategies easy to understand and use right away.
